2006 East Coast National The East Coast National is held annually in Egg Harbor, New Jersey and for many BMXers from the Northeast, is a signal to the beginning of summer racing. This year was no different as racers came out by the hundreds, putting moto counts at over 130. The weekend really came together with some great weather and awesome track conditions. From left to right we have Elite Men's rider Lance McGuire doing it for Hyper Bicycles and we have Joey Albright doing it for Felt Saab/Extreme Sports. McGuire was on fire all weekend and took home the win both days.
Olish Farms Racing's Harley Kelley making his way down Egg Harbor's second straight during Sunday's moto action. Kelley was all over McGuire during Sunday's main event action but just couldn't make it stick. He still managed to finish the weekend with a pair of seconds.
Here we have Kelley setting up a great move on McGuire as the two prepare to dive into Egg Harbor's second turn. McGuire would however hold on to take the win.
Bizzarro Racing's Kayla Gaddis making her way down the second straight. Gaddis was in control of the Elite Women's class for th whole weekend. Chalk her up for a pair of perfects.
Carley Young getting her snap on for Welham Bikes. Young rounded out the weekend with a pair of seconds in Elite Women.
