2006 Northeast Regional

After a rough start to the weekend with some heavy rain Saturday, the New Paltz track crew was able to get the track in great shape by Sunday morning for a little double or nothing action.  Saturday's rain sent quite a few packing and heading home, but for those who waited, the track was in great shape and really fast.  The moto count stood right around 40 and the weather being so dreary, taking pictures was a bit of a challenge.  But, check out what we do have to offer and let us know if there are any corrections that need to be made.

As you will see with the photos, the sky was dark, but the racing action was hot.  Here we have the 15x guys going to it in a great battle I have seen unfold many times before.  Riding for Felt/Saab/Extreme Sports is Javery Hattat followed by the OFR ride of Max Egdorf.

HBR rider grabs a handful of brake as he heads toward turn #2.

Kyle O'Brien motoring out of the turn in the 15 Novice class.

"Jumpin" Jay Patterson certainly knows how to put it up over the second straight doubles in New Paltz.

One of the most stylish little guys on the track and I did not catch his name.  9 Expert I believe, taking it to the air.  This guy had everyone's attention in New Paltz.

One of the little Rocket dudes trying to keep it on the ground next to the Old School BMX ride.
